What is a Copyright?

Copyright is the ‘right to copy’. So, without the permission of the copyright holder, no one can copy the work of art. As the copyright holder, you also have the moral right to be credited for your work!

Copyright registration is something artists are not worried about. Artists are mavericks; they love the creation and not the cash or the legal procedure. Lawyers, on the other hand, love cash. Artists and lawyers are not really hand in glove. Artists and lawyers are more like a hand in a sock (whatever that is). Be it a book, magazine, drawing, painting, music, video, photograph, a work of an architecture, a movie or even a computer program. All these creations come after a great investment of time and labor and they deserve protection.
